Working at Pannongar
What a Pannongar campaign is actually like
Four centres, sixty-eight permanent staff, and around forty seasonal colleagues who carry us through the peaks. One rule holds for all of them: you tell the customer the truth, and we back you when you do.
A Hungarian garage year has two hard peaks and one long shoulder. From October the whole country wants winter tyres in the same fortnight; from March it wants them off again. In between, June to August brings the holiday safety checks and the fleet campaign that has to finish before the plants close for the summer. Seasonal staff are how we absorb those weeks without letting standards slip.
The bays are clean, lit and heated, and nobody here is paid a percentage of the invoice. If you tell a customer their pads have 6 mm left and do not need changing, that is the right call, and nobody will question it. Job times are set by people who have done the job, and if a quoted time is wrong we change the time, not your pay.
Interviews are held in the centre you would work at, with the manager you would report to. If you are applying from outside the EU we start the permit paperwork as soon as you accept, and we tell you honestly how long it is running that month.
